Excellent Gen I Scope
This is my 4th NV scope, but 1st NV rifle scope.
The IR emitter that comes with the scope is good out to ~75 yards for lighter colored objects, ~50 for darker objects. It is better than the built in emitters I have seen in Gen I-III scopes. I have a laser IR illuminator from another manufacture...

not worth buying it !
I received the unit a few days ago. Tested it out in the woods and should say I expected more from it as I read lots of good reviews. To my surprise I could see clear only within 30 feet range in the dark .. what's beyond was hardly seen. the unit has lots of distortions, fish eye at the edges, adds...

Can I shoot it in the day time also ? Or only at night ? Also what batteries would I need to operate? Does the s ops mount come with the rifle scope ? It looks good I was also looking at the ATN 4 gen 4x pro .

Good hunting scope
Have hunted hogs with it no problems. I had a IR light mounted so that made it much better on the darker nights I'm sure there are better but not for the price....have used it to watch the critters around camp AR night without scaring them off...
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- weight

STAY AWAY product/company not ready for primetime!
So got the 3x scope , mounted it on my sig- sauer 556r chambered for the 7.62X39 round....was able to put a whopping 5 rounds down range before this " product" shut off and would not turn back on. I guess that's OK since I had to readjust the focus after each shot anyway. So the place I got it from called ATNs " customer service" dept only to be told they wouldn't except the scope back until we tried lithium batteries in it, why ATN couldn't have tried this option in thier facility is beyond me. I did get a lovely e- mail from ATN explaining that some units had the battery pack installed upside down and that some of their units battery closer loosens over time and causes the units to shut down. Please save your money, dissapointment, time and frustration and look elsewhere to invest you're hard earned money. In my humble opinion this place doesn't have any interest in putting out a quality product and should not be rewarded for this sloppy " product" ....

Good night vision for the price
I ordered this scope based on reviewers and have not been disappointed yet. It has one dark spot when on but does not interfere with use. Based on reviews I did right after ordering this scope get on amazon and ordered a stream light ir light with a streamlight pic mount and pressure switch. The first time I used this setup was a moonless night with full cloud cover so no ambient light. Push the pressure switch on the streamlight and I could see through the scope at least 200 yards easy. I did not try the light that comes with the scope but it looks cheap. One added plus is the scope and streamlight both use cr123 batteries. Ok scope on its own but awesome with the streamlight! Happy hunting!

Good so far
I haven't taken it hunting yet as I just received my upper I am putting it on but playing with it outside with a little ambient light it seems to work great. I did go ahead and purchase a stream light IR light after reading reviews that the included IR light was not great. The green on indicator light is way to bright. Have some 100mph tape handy.
Pros:
- Good image
Cons:
- Heavy

- hunting

MK390 Paladin Review
Well made. Works great and lived up to expectations. The directions for daytime use could have been written with more specifics and made guessing on my part a lot less frustrating. It is similar to the unit I used in Viet Nam. Clarity is good.
Best Used for:
- night time shooting

Good for the money
Great scope.just remember when you sight it in with the day use scope cover on the lens and then go to shoot at night you need to refocus from day use to night use. I would buy again. a++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Christmas gift
The recipient of this gift loved it. He took it outside to test it out and it was great according to him. Certainly a great pick. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a night scope. Be aware that it is really heavy but really nice product.

Best Gen1 I've seen!!
I am retired Law Enforcement, and I've had the fortune to use some top equipment. This unit way exceeded my expectations. If you have no moonlight, effective range is 50-75 yards. With even a slight help from the night sky, you shouldn't be unhappy. At dead dark, no moon it zeroed in after 5 shots, mounted on a DPMS SporticaL 223. I removed the scope for some daytime plinking and after remounting later, it stayed precise.
I added a CREE T20 IR 850nm to my setup to extend illumination range and a 100yd shot on any night. I've used $2k scopes that did not preform this good.
