I looked forward to this carbon fiber rail for four months until its arrival last month (April 20180). I expected it to be the lightest handguard I have evr purchased and at its price there was no reason why not. Upon arrival I tested it against another unit I had previously acquired from Optics World and found it is 60% heavier. I kept it because I have an application where I can still use it to great advantage. I should have read the specs a bit closer. Non-the-less I am somewhat pleased with my purchase.
