Outstanding attenuation! .
458 SOCOM subsonic loads are comfortable indoors without earmuffs. Unsuppressed supersonic .458 SOCOM loads and handgun magnum loads require earmuffs indoors. Lighter handgun supersonic loads are relatively comfortable indoors.
Supersonic long-gun loads through 6.5x284 Norma, 7mm Remington Magnum, 7mm Dakota, 300 Remington SA Ultra Mag loads relatively comfortable without earmuffs outdoors. Suppressed 12 ga 00-buckshot loads comfortable without earmuffs outdoors.
The ambient noise amplification feature works very well on and off the range. Uncomfortable noise levels are significantly reduced. The Bluetooth feature satisfactorily links to my mobile telephone for communication and entertainment.
The controls are straightforward and intuitive. Also carrying case recharging is a definite plus.
Pricey, but well worth the expense.

AXIL Xcor Hearing Protection Ear Buds are difficult to properly fit/position in ears, did not block loud sounds adequately using the recommended foam inserts, in noise reduction setting earbuds hummed/had crackle sound which was annoying, volume buttons are difficult to set, earbud speaker quality is extremely poor frequency range and completely unnatural sounding, bluetooth function does not have an off button (must turn off bluetooth from paired device and light will blink 5 minutes if not paired). Recommend getting another brand of earbuds, over the ears headset or just use cheap high quality foam ear plugs instead.
Cons:
- Fit
- Comfort
- Ease of use
- sound quality
Best Used for:
- sitting on the shelf since will not use these

I have been using foamies for 30 years. With the exception of some High Speed Kit when I was in Ranger Battalion I have always used cheap Ear Pro. After finally getting drawn for a Bull Elk Rifle Hunt I decided to splurge on laggit hearing protection. After exhaustive research these seemed to keep coming up as top tier options. So I went for it. I will say, it is crucial to experiment with the provided different size ear tips. The wrong size will give you a head ache after 3 hours of use.. After finding the proper size I was able to spend 7+ hours wearing these bad boys. I took lunch breaks and recharged for 30min to top off and never had an issue with them dieing on me. Solid piece of Kit with a no bull $#itt warranty. Worth every penny.

I was excited to get these and ditch the bulky headphones while maintaining active hearing & still having ear-pro.
I ended up disappointed.
While they passed the clap test as shown in the instructions, auto deadening the sound and they work very well in that aspect, if i drop a magazine on my tailgate it auto deadens sound.
But they do not detect & auto deaden actual gunfire which is very disappointing.
As far as ear-pro goes, they work better when they are shut off.
The bluetooth & sound enhancement work very well. im sure there are cheaper earbuds that do that. their purpose was ear pro. they dont deaden gunfire, or do a good job of protecting your hearing, which is why it got 2 stars.
(Yes, i had the right style of tips on them,
No, they weren't loose or improperly worn & i was outdoors, so its not like the sound was amplified by being indoors)
Cons:
- doesnt auto sound deaden actual gunfire

Bought these in an effort to replace my over the ear protection for 3 gun and pistol dynamic matches. Not impressed at all. They are no better than a set of foam earplugs at sound mitigation and they just barely fit my ears with the smallest foam tips. To the point it's rather uncomfortable to wear. The touch feature to turn background sound on/off took me 5 mins at least to operate every time I turned them on. My biggest issue with these by far is the bluetooth feature. There is no way to turn it off so if you want to disconnect from your phone or don't have it with you then it will constantly beep and say "pairing". It does that for 5 mins straight and can't be turned off. I'm assuming that's why the background sound adjustment wouldn't work either during that time. Listening to music or hearing my phone ring would be ok on the range, but, during a match it's unnecessary and dangerous to say the least. Also, taking them out in-between matches or between moving to different stages for some ear relief becomes an issue as well. Once you turn them off and back on again they'll attempt to pair with your phone all over again and background sound will be off. Should have bought the non bluetooth model or something with a cord to easily turn off/on and keep around my neck in-between matches.
Cons:
- Expensive
- NON RETURNABLE
- Bluetooth Won't Turn Off
- Touch Controls Don't Work Properly

These do what I need them to do, more convenient than over the ear protection and cooler as well. The sound quality is pretty good, the comfort is pretty good, the hearing protection is pretty good, they are pretty easy to use. You can get more comfortable and better sound from AirPods, but you don’t get the hearing protection or the 3 levels of sound amplification that these have. To me they could be better for the price, but they are still pretty good.
Pros:
- hearing proctection
- amplification
