Matt S.'s Review of AXTS Freedom Bone Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle

When running a suppressed upper, often there is the issue of gas blowback (especially without an adjustable gas block).

While there are several options out there to address this issue, I have yet to find one as simple and affordable as the Freedom Bone (not to mention a pretty awesome name).

You can buy and install an adjustable gas block, you can buy an adjustable BCG, you can even buy an adjustable upper receiver.

All of those will cost more time and money than the Freedom Bone. This is a cost effective drop in solution to run a suppressor on a standard upper receiver.

Much easier to install than a vented Forward Assist (if your receiver has a Forward Assist).

So attractive and innovative that you will probably be pulling it out of your upper to show off to people who haven't seen one before.

About Matt S. from IL, United States

Hi, my name is Matt and I am a Gear Addict. I have a serious product addiction and enjoy nothing better than getting to run a product through its paces. I like to know exactly what it can and can't do or whether it's worth recommending or not.
