Wildbill's Review of AXTS Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle

So I recently bought the AXTS Raptor charging handle and I must say it is beautiful. It is very well made and sturdy. It's ambidextrous so a huge plus for you southpaws out there. Is it expensive? Yes. If you've gone through several AR builds and are looking for something different than a standard charging handle, this is a great upgrade.

I rated this product into 5 categories. As you can see below I knocked a few points off for cost because it's made of 7 series aluminum billet, while this is what adds to its durability and pleasing aesthetics, it raises the costs significantly over a standard milspec charging handle. I took a point off ergos solely because the geissele super charging handle felt slightly better when using the two finger charging method. Other than that minor complaint in feel it works beautifully, esp when palming the handle to charge it.

Overall I gave the product 4/5 stars because it's a great product but not perfect mainly because of the price. There are other companies making good charging handles out there but the AXTS Raptor is by favor the most aesthetically pleasing. If you're building a billet receiver set, this is a must upgrade as it flows with the lines of a billet build. In the end, if you take the plunge on this, you won't be disappointed.
