I broke my stock charging handle clearing a stuck case and replaced with this. It is pricey for a charging handle but I have found it to be worth it. Handles are much easier to access and clears mount for atn x-sight scope. I was having problems with barrel and had about 5 more stuck cases. After getting this handle but had very little problem clearing with this charging handle.

Tried them all, well at least as many as I could. But the AXTS (now known as radian) raptor is by far the simples to use and has the best form factor. Does everything you expect a charging handle to do, but as an ambi option is unbelievably comfortable, with no parts sticking out and pinching like a few others.

Anyone who owns one these knows they are the best designed and easiest to operate (with either hand) charging handles period. This is the only handle I use for my builds. I got mine on sale here for $50 and free shipping.

Fantastic Charging handle that is second to none. As a lefty I need the ambi features and Optics Plannet had a great sale and shipped fast. Couldn't ask for anthything else. Using this charging handle on an Aero Precision M5.

I bought this and a tubb flatwire Buffer spring and a heavy Buffer for my DPMS 308 AR10 because the factory handle sucked and wasn't easy to manipulate especially with a scope on the rifle, before this handle it took a good good amount of effort to charge the rifle but after this handle was installed on my AR10 it's as different as night and day, I can now charge the rifle with one finger on either hand as well as palming it or brace charging or any other way you can think of, it's amazing how easy my 308 is to charge now, it's a simple drop in item and works better then expected, I mean I expected it to work better then the factory handle, I mean it had to work better because it couldn't get much worse then it was with the original handle, and I will add this handle to every rifle I have that uses a charging handle, well except for my side charge AR but only because it doesn't have a top charging handle, this charging handle also works great on a regular AR15 too but it really shines on the 308 AR10 platform and it's amazing how much easier it is to charge my rifle now, I'm a loyal customer now and will use this on all my rifles that I can, thanks AXTS you made me love shooting my AR10 now when I didn't like it much at all before

I put a Strike Eagle scope on my AR and it made it difficult to rack the slide with my standard charging handle. I did a ton of research and couldn't find a bad comment on the Raptor. Optics planet had the best deal at the time, so I grabbed one. Upon receipt, it has really nice machining, fit and finish is great. Much easier to rack the slide now, no issues at all. I definitely recommend a Raptor. I also wanted to add that I picked up a $35 knockoff at the same time and the knockoff looks close to the Raptor, but it is not in the same category after you try to use it. Spend a few dollars more on the real deal.

Hands down the best charging handle on the market. Extremely easy to use and operate. It was a great upgrade over the stock charging handle that my AR came with. I'll end up purchasing many more of these for future builds

Great product, shipped super fast. I just picked up an AR-15 this summer and upgrading the charging handle was the first thing I did. If they have another sale like the one I took advantage of I will probably buy another one for my inevitable second AR. If these go cheap buy it.

I have used BCM/VLTOR charging handles and they are excellent. Both single and ambidextrous versions work flawlessly. I picked up several of these Raptors and love the design. Large & larger finger latches with substantial pivot pins suggest well thought out real world of hard use. Appreciate the heavily grooved surface. I am left handed so I prefer ambidextrous handles now. Even though the stock handle does the job they are small and can be obstructed by some optics. If you wear gloves, have large hands or shoot lefty in all manner of positions these ambidextrous handles give you options. Besides, this model looks sharp.

Craftsmanship is second to none. Flawless operation. Stellar aesthetics. One bad charging handle-that is all. Pick up a few today, at this price you can afford it. Optics Planet is awesome at price matching also!
