Not a bad handguard for the price, but won't clear a low profile gas block

I like the look and the price of this handguard, so I picked it up because it's made in the US. I used it on a 14.5" barrel with a low profile gas block, connected to an Aero Precision upper. It would not clear the gas block, I had to remove some material from the bottom section of the hand guard to allow it to clear. I am not at all happy that I had to do work on a new item to make it work, but it is what it is at this point. After some work, it fits nicely now.

AXTS Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle
I put a Strike Eagle scope on my AR and it made it difficult to rack the slide with my standard charging handle. I did a ton of research and couldn't find a bad comment on the Raptor. Optics planet had the best deal at the time, so I grabbed one. Upon receipt, it has really nice machining, fit and finish is great. Much easier to rack the slide now, no issues at all. I definitely recommend a Raptor. I also wanted to add that I picked up a $35 knockoff at the same time and the knockoff looks close to the Raptor, but it is not in the same category after you try to use it. Spend a few dollars more on the real deal.
