Most Helpful Positive Review Right Hole
If you purchase this mount check the rear hole placement for that screw. If you have the older model as I have you must use the foreward hole of those 2 in order to keep the mount from moving foreward, it rests against the fixed sight and does not allow for any foreward creep. If you use the most rear hole it will creep foreward no matter how tight you tighten the screws. Pros: good scope mount for old style mk1 rugers pre1971 Cons: none at this time

Excellent alternative to drilling & tapping in order to mount a scope. Great value and Optics Planet ships orders lightning fast!
Pros: Installs easily, looks good and allows great selection of scope positioning. Alleviates the need to drill and tap.
Cons: Rear mount screw does not allow the use of the stock iron sights

There are NO CONS with this mount.
Everything about is rock solid, easy to mount, easy to use. A HUGE "plus" is the iron sights co-witness beautifully.
I am extremely happy with this product.

You have a Mark II and want to mount a scope or a red dot? You cannot go wrong with this mount. Well worth the money spent. The price is right, too!
