Great product. I mounted this on a Remington 870 20 gauge with a 28" vent ribbed barrel. Easy to install and it's adjustable to accommodate various rib lengths and widths. Most Helpful Negative Review Good idea but no confidence
I bought it hoping I can use my shotgun with a red dot for deer or turkey a well but the design is not optimal and not easy to set up. I am not even sure it will remain in position. That was a wrong decision. Writing longer to help with this stupid rule of having 200 characters minimum in a review...

B square shotgun universal scope mount

I have had one of these mounts for several years on my Remington 1100 20ga. and it works great. I just purchased another for a 870 12 ga. that I got for my 62nd birthday . Yes I would recommend this mount .

Can't Stand the heat

Used on Semi-auto 20 gauge and the mount bent after the first shot. I didn't notice it and kept trying to adjust the scope but could never even get back on target. Finally I noticed that the mount had bent up about an inch from the receiver. It also marked up the rib where it attached. Don't waste your time. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Very nice product

Put this on 2 shotguns and it looks good and works well. On my daughter super bantam I had to file the small pieces that go under the rib and fit very well on my A5. Gonna shoot slugs this deer season and thought this might work well

B Square Rib Mount

This is a WEAVER rail. This is not mentioned in the description. Picatinny will not fit.
Also, it does not clear the receiver on SBE. I would not recommend this rail to anyone who is using a Picatinny mounted device.
Very disappointed.

Very nice mount

This is exactly what I expected. Easily mounted on my Winchester 1300 12ga. Have not fired yet but I do not anticipate any problems. I read some reviews that indicated the rail bent upon first shot after mounting. I can only surmise that it was improperly mounted.

Worthless in my opinion

I bought two of these one for me and a relative last year. The one on my nephews gun seems to be doing OK. Mine on the other hand has completely buckled under the recoil of turkey loads. Not many other options out there for this mounting arrangement, but save your money and time and come up with another solution

Piece of junk!!!

I bought this to mount a red dot sight to my shotgun for spring turkey season. I got thus and mounted it fairly easily. The workmanship of the item is horrible. There were burs I had to file down to keep from gouging the finish of my shotgun. Once mounted you see that the end of the mount that is unsupported flexes like a spring board. I thought I would give it a try... Took it to the range to pattern and after a few light loads to see where the sight was I put in a couple turkey loads. The second shot was really high and I thought I had flinched, but when I went to the third the red dot was pointing at the barrel. Upon inspection, this mount had bent from the recoil and curved up and away from the gun... Completely useless... Now I have a $45 piece of junk...

Cons: Bent after two round of turkey loads.

Great mount

I put this on a 1100 shot gun that my dad has so he could put a laser on. See he uses it for home protection and it let me install it on the shotgun no problem.If you would want to install a red dot os a scope on a shotgun with a vent rib this is the only way to go. I love it!

no need for drill & taping

put this on my winchester SX3 with weaver shotgunscope. fits gun very well, shot several 3 1/2 in. heavy shot with heavy shot choke,also shot 10 win. 3 1/2 in. mount stayed secure.
Pros: light,easy instalation
