This is a great barrel but... - Ballistic Advantage Performance Series 5.56x45mm Barrel

I have purchased this barrel before and I know how good it is. Its a quality barrel, very accurate for its length and love how it comes with a low pro gas block you can pin. However, I am not sure what galaxy brain OpticsPlanet employee thought it was a great idea to ship me a lightly bubble wrapped barrel in a bag. The rubber breech protector that these barrels typically ship with was missing and the breech face of the barrel came horribly scratched up. There is a nice ding on the barrel as well. I am praying that the upper I planned on building for my dad for Father's Day still works as expected. I think it's still salvageable... The barrel deserves 5 stars as I know it is a high quality barrel that perfoms great but I am taking one star off due to the condition this one arrived in. This is a review about the barrel I received after all and if you do buy one let's hope they do a better job at delivering it to you in the quality state that I know it should come in.
