KVP ASR Muzzle Break

Written on Mar 22, 2026

I bought the 5/8x24 version for a 300 blackout upper receiver I built and it works just as well as a SilencerCo muzzle break but for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend it.

Radian Vertex Flat Bow Trigger

Written on Mar 20, 2026

Looks and feels great in my Radian Model 1. Short take up, very crisp break and short reset. The flat bow allows for well placed quick follow up shots. Super easy to install, took no more than 5 minutes. It uses two set screws to push up on the trigger pins and another set of set screws that lock the bottom ones in place. I never been a fan of cassette style triggers but this one really blew away my expectations. Definitely worth picking one up if you have a Radian Model 1 or if you just need a nice single stage trigger. I highly recommend it.

CMMG Ambi mag catch

Written on Mar 14, 2026

I've tried a few different Ambi mag catch/release kits before and this is by far the best one I've come across. It's pretty low profile so no worries about it getting snagged on something. Install is exactly the same as any other mag catch. Beat of all it works great. I can drop the mag from the left side easily. The price is not bad either. I highly recommend it.

DFCO Tiger Claw

Written on Mar 13, 2026

Hugs Fan of the Tiger Claw foregrip. Easy to install, feels great to hold, makes it easier to dig the rifle onto your shoulder, ergos are fantastic and looks good. It's reasonably priced and worth trying if you ask me. I highly recommend it.

Midwest Industries AR Professional Armorer's Wrench

Written on Mar 10, 2026

I bought this because it looked like it would a lot easier to torque/un-torque castle nuts over the Magpul Armorer's Wrench. Sure enough it is a lot easier to use than the Magpul version for doing just that. It comes with a lot of other nice features as well but I primarily use it for castle nuts. I have a few other armorers wrenches and this is by far the best one I own. Midwest Industries makes some really good tools and they are definitely built to last. I've been using this for over a year now and it is a fantastic addition to my AR tools. I highly recommend it.

DFCO Kung Fu Grip

Written on Mar 07, 2026

I honestly didn't know if I was going to like this grip but now that I gave it a chance and I am so happy I did. The 12 degree grip angle with a nice undercut and texture creates a natural feeling and sturdy grip. It particularly shines on shorter builds like 11.5" or shorter but can definitely be used as on longer ones. Pair this up with the DFCO Tiger Claw and you got yourself a perfect combo. It feels great and natural when holding and shooting. With four different colors to choose from its really great and affordable grip.. Its my new go-to grip and I highly recommend it

Lantac Gas Rings

Written on Mar 04, 2026

It's always a good idea to have spare gas rings for your bolts. When you shoot as much as I do you end up wearing out the gas rings. Lantac is known for making quality products so I bought 3 packs of these. I used one pack to swap out some worn down gas rings I had in one of my BCGs (it was failing the gas ring test) and afterwards it was good as new. I highly recommend these.

Real Avid AR15 Pivot Pin Tool-Pro

Written on Mar 03, 2026

This is a must have if you build out stripped lowers or service them often. It is far superior to the plastic version and works great for installing the front takedown pivot pin. You will no longer need to worry about springs and detents flying across the room during the install process. It turns a tedious task into a simple one. I highly recommend it.

Geissele AR15 Reaction Rod

Written on Feb 26, 2026

I bought this over 2 years ago and it was solid purchase. I can't tell you how many upper receivers I built and serviced with it. I think it is a must have for any avid AR builder. I love how you can use it to turn the upper you are working on in different positions since it indexes off of the barrels locking lugs. For example, installing the gas block, torqueing handguard screws and attaching accessories to your handguard. It is best used for installing muzzle devices but I found that you can also use it for torqueing down barrel nuts as well. This reaction rod is built like a tank and I have dropped it a few times by accident but I found little to no damage on it. If you are looking for a tool that will last a long time for building and servicing upper receivers then look no further. I would definitely buy this again and highly recommend it.

Gun Nuts Oops Kit

Written on Feb 18, 2026

If you are an avid builder like me then this oops kit is a must have. Can't tell you how many times I've had springs and detents go flying. Not exactly the easiest parts to find since they can be so small. That's where this oops kit comes in handy. Has everything you need when it comes to spare parts. I highly recommend it.
