Most Helpful Positive Review BA .308 barrel
This barrel is fantastic!! Heavy weight just like I wanted, shoots great! This is my third ballistic advantage barrel and I would buy three more. So far I have been very impressed! Look forward to more fun shooting down range!!!

Great barrel!

The BAM Modern barrel shipped quickly, was well packed and fit my DPMS LR-308 build just right. Waiting on new gas tube to arrive to finish build and test fire. Looking forward to the test fire as BAM barrels have an excellent reputation.

Heavy but does it right

Don't be intimidated by its weight. Yes, it's a beefy piece of metal but at 20" you're already carrying around a hefty/cumbersome rifle. This went into a bench gun and I couldn't be happier with my results. Fit nicely into my upper receiver, not too snug but not too loose. BA makes a great barrel and with an adjustable gas block, my rifle runs fantastically.

great barrel

It's a great barrel, not too light, not too heavy. Ballistic advantage has always performed well on my other rifles, and this is no exception. If i have one complaint, it's that the gas block seat doesn't have dimples, so misalignment causing an under gassed rifle are quite common. Easy to fix, but it does happen

Ballistic advantage 308 barrel

The barrel shipped on time and was packaged very good. I have not yet installed the barrel but it looks great and is lightweight. The 16” barrel looks like it will be a good length for a under 500 yards hunting rifle. I will put a vortex 1-8x24 to keep it lightweight.
