10.3" ballistic advantage performance series .300 blackout barrel - Ballistic Advantage Performance Series .300 Blackout for AR-15 Rifle Barrels

I bought this barrel for a duty grade 300 blackout build. I had previously purchased the BA 8.3" stainless steel premium series version and wanted something that would last longer so I decided to go with the performance series in 10.3". It cycles supers and subs perfectly just like my 8.3" BA barrel. I use it with a non-adjustable gas block and with the BCM standard mil-spec buffer kit. I am using a non-LBP suppressor when shooting and it has cycles 110gr - 220gr ammo with no issues. It can cycle supers unsuppressed but if you do intend on using this for supers only with no suppressor then you may want to consider a heavier buffer weight. Otherwise it works great suppressed with a standard 3oz buffer weight. I don't shoot subs without a suppressor so I can't comment on how it shoots them unsuppressed - I think it is wasteful if you don't use a suppressor with subs anyway. It is very accurate as I was shooting sub MOA groups at 25yrds with just a red dot. Overall, it's a high quality barrel with a gas block that can be pinned and is prefect for what I need it for. This barrel now resides in my duty grade build, by my bedside for home defense and QCB. I highly recommend it.
