Demun Tri Strike

by Sam, from AZ, United States Written on July 14, 2025
The Barnett Demun Tri Strike is a surprisingly capable tool for close-quarters use (God forbid) or small game hunting. For its size and power, it delivers serious performance in tight spaces where a full-sized crossbow would be impractical.

I saw a YouTube review criticizing the connected stock and foregrip, but I strongly disagree — in fact, I think it’s one of the best features. The way the stock flows into the foregrip allows you to hold it like a pistol while giving your wrist solid support, making the weapon feel much more stable and controlled during aiming and follow-up shots.

That said, reused bolts lose accuracy quickly. If you’re preparing for small game or defense, I highly recommend buying extra 2F bolts and using fresh ones for clean, reliable shots. I personally marked all my target practice bolts with a Sharpie so I never mistake them for the ones I keep loaded for serious use. Also Pure Beeswax to keep maintenance is a must found it did better than traditional bow sting brands for this particular weapon. I plan on keeping this in my truck as a backup to a 22lr when noise isn’t needed.
Pros:
  • practical
  • Durabilaty
  • Strong enough for self defense
Cons:
  • accuracy
  • Low fps
Best Used for:
  • self / home defence
  • Small game and home defense.

arrows do not project street on flight

by Ray, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on January 5, 2025
The bolts almost stick like a hatchet head they flop. It’s not a dead center trajection I think the arrows may be too heavy for this product. More of a toy would not recommend hunting small game with would not provide the proper flight and range. I think a single shot would be better suited for small game hunting.
Pros:
  • Three shot capacity comes with five bolts in total
Cons:
  • Bad flight trajectory
Best Used for:
  • target practice
