Most Helpful Positive Review Great scope
Had no problem setting up. Wanted a scope that could be used in most light settings whether in the woods or out in the open. This scope is a very good value Pros: adjustable brightness on Mil-Dot Cons: none
Most Helpful Negative Review Never even got the chance to use
Was looking at these awhile back and was in the market for a run of the mill cheaper scope to put on my Ruger All American 308. Well I ended up picking this up and put it on and was able to send 12 rounds down range when the scope literally fell apart on me. Was never able to zero in due to the foc...

Wow...surprise suprise!

by Tackleberry, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 24, 2022
I have to say I was very hesitant about this purchase. I've had great luck with Barska scopes FOR MY 22LR's! I rolled the dice and took a chance on this one! I received the scope in a few days thanks to Optics Planet. I installed it on my AR-10, went to the range, loaded her up, held my breath, and pressed the trigger. At 100 yards, I was a little off target. A few clicks, right where I wanted it to hit...10 ring! I ran 100 rounds down range with the same results. Just over a one inch group. With that said and done, I was extremely happy! Now I have to say, there is one downfall. The green crosshairs are awesome, but the red, even at the lowest setting...little too bright.
Pros:
  • Great Scope
Cons:
  • Red dots too bright
Best Used for:
  • Ok for larger calibers

Great Scope

by Flyboy, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on July 3, 2018
I bought 1 of these and put it on a 300 black out zero it in on 6 shots at 50 yds. Moved tp 100 yds. and right on target so I bought another and put it on a 6.5 Creedmore same results this new technology that Barska has done is incredible for the price.
Pros:
  • Buy
Cons:
  • hard to stay in stock

Never been let down by Barska until now

by Jonathan, from VA, United States Written on April 16, 2018
I’ve have quite a few barska scopes and really liked them. This has got to be one of the worst scopes i’ve ever “tried” to use. It’s so dark and out of focus at pretty much any distance. There is no parralax adjustment on the scope i recieved even though the scope in the picture did have one. So it is unable to be focused for distance. This scope is pretty much useless for me or any of the other people who have tried to see through it.
Pros:
  • Looks cool
Cons:
  • Out of focus, dark picture,

very good value for the money

by saef, from Denmark Written on November 25, 2015
I have had this scope now for 2 years and it has been really good. I now have the Nikon monarch 5 which is of course much better but the Price is 5 times higher.
so for the Price it was really worth it- good lens. and incredibly durable. I have used it only in very unforgiving nature in Greenland lots of snow and mountains with my 308 and I fell down hill with my rifle and the scope still works perfectly even after the fall even with all the bumps and scratches and the hard usage
cons. comparing to the expansive scopes the x16 zoom is not as clear and it's heavier than my other scopes.

1st scope I ever bought that came apart on me

by Wormsoaker, from IL, United States Written on November 23, 2015
I have had many scopes from companies like tasco, bushnell, nikon, and leupold. This is the first scope I ever had that litteraly came apart on me!! I owned it less than a yr. and only put 70-75 rd.s of ammo through the new slug gun to sight in and try some different loads. The illumination knob got so loose it started to flop around. I now have to pay more for them to send me a new scope, about double what it cost me to mail it back to them. It seemed to adjust and hold zero well enough, but I do not recommend buying this scope,i fear I have thrown my money away. I should have gotten the NEC or saved longer and gotten a leopold.

Great price for a good product

by Kevin Fike, Verified Owner from WV, United States Written on August 1, 2014
I have not had much of an opportunity to really evaluate the product in the cold, or inclement weather. Where I live and hunt that is certainly a factor to be considered. So far it has been everything I expected. Granted it is not a ridiculously priced scope, but certainly satisfies my needs and expectations.
