Just a tidbit to the previous reviewer....
I noticed in one of the previous reviews someone said it wouldnt stay zeroed when zoomed all the way in... this is not a variable powered scope but a fixed 4 powered scope. Therefore whatever you were turning was throwing off your zero. Dont give a product a bad rep because you are not familiar with...

COYOTE KILLER
The scope appears to be a newer version of a china made scope by another name . The other scope would not zero when changed from 100 to 200 ect. yds. this one does. the optics are not as clear and the windage and elevation screws dont respond as positive as they should but it is accurate and adjusts...

its ok for the low cost
It’s not going to perform like the real thing, but it’s good for adding that retro vibe to your carry handle AR

Ok for the price if you get one that works...
You get what you pay for, and you pay for what you get. This is a cheap scope, so manage your expectations. I wouldn't trust my life to this scope, but it's fine for plinking, which is what I expect at this price point.
The first one I received would not adjust elevation or windage at all. Opticsplanet gave me a full refund, so I decided to roll the dice a second time. This one adjusts, and I was able to zero it quickly and hit a steel plate at 100 yards. I'll have to spend some more time to see how well it holds zero over time and how the range adjustment performs. I'm giving it 3 stars since this one seems to work, but I'd only recommend buying it from a company like Opticsplianet that will take care of you if you get a dud.

Sight mounted improperly on base
As another reviewer or two pointed out, the reticle and scope itself are slightly canted at about 5-10 degrees. The issue is that the scope is improperly mounted to the base, and there’s not a way to fix it because it’s screwed in that way. While it does have that retro “cool factor” to it and it is a fraction of the price of the Colt one, I can’t see how you could conceivably hit something beyond your zero if the mil-dot doesn’t even align with the bullet’s drop. You can even see this issue in the sample pictures on the item page, so Barska doesn’t even try to hide it. Maybe this could be a decent airsoft scope or something you just want to plink with, but wouldn’t actually function as properly intended. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

Rust in peace.
This scope arrived with rust already present on the mount. It still functioned but was disappointing. When trying to sight the scope in I had problems right away. The reticle was so far off I couldn't get it close to center. No fun, no shots on target, no more scope. Sent it back for a refund.
Pros:
- Clear picture
Cons:
- unable to adjust
Best Used for:
- shot gun

not terrible
Optically its meh. Mil dots are nice to have but too thick. Clicks are postive enough and not too mushy. Reticle moves with adjustment, but i think its made that way. Sometimes those are more capable of holding zero that a constantly centered reticle. However the achilles heel of the design is the lever on the bottom seems very flimsy. I think barska has a decent design here other than that. I like many of their other products. They just need to beef that up a bit. Returned mine for that reason.
