This has some of the best eye relief of all the monoculars I own- great for people (like me) who wear eyeglasses.
Optical clarity and brightness is so-so, but what do you expect for the money? It's fine for casual daytime use, and concerts and such.
Mine did have an issue with the extendable rear eye cup/shade- it kept popping off after a while. I ended up using CA glue (superglue) to glue it in place permanently. So far so good.
For the money it's hard to beat- and if you lose it or drop it, you're not out a ton of money.
Pros: HUGE field of view- great eye relief for eyeglass wearers
Cons: extendable eye cup broke on mine- glued back on, so far so good.
Would recommend: Yes

To start, this is a nice monocular. It is actually waterproof (I tested it under a faucet. It passed where a cheap Brunton that claimed to be waterproof failed miserably). The Field of View is HUGE. The construction seems very solid and the price is right.
On the flip side, this thing is a monster and weighs quite a bit.
Being waterproof and having a huge field of view, it would be right at home on a boat. However, I don't think it would be my 1st choice on a backpacking trip.
Overall, a very nice piece, just gotta know what you're getting.
Pros: HUGE Field of View, Waterproof, Good Construction
Cons: Big, Heavy
