Barska Deep Sea 7x50mm Porro Prism Rangefinder Binoculars
This is my third bino of this type manufactured at Kunming, China.
The two other brands have the pretty bad and cheap ruby coatings and one of them a plastic bag which emits a feculent smell of chemical substances. The Barska has none of these troubles. The coatings are certainly not the best avail...

The package doesn't contain any instruction manuals for how to use this pair of binoculars. The Barska website doesn't have the information either. This is very frustrating.

Purchased for marine use, packaging does contain detailed instructions on how to use compass and range finder. Found these to be of high quality and the optics are crystal clear from min to max distance once eye pieces are adjusted to your vision. Lens covers are tight fit if eye pieces are rolled back.

I purchased the binoculars for nautical use. I used them on a whale watching trip. Had 5-6 foot swells, but was able to use binoculars with little effort. The reason I gave a 4 for easy to set up and usability is based on the lack of user-friendly instructions for the rangefinder. Eventually I will figure it out. All-in-all, I really like the binoculars.
Pros: Works great on the open sea. Floats. Durable.
Cons: No good instructions on how to use range finder. Caps for upper and lower lenses are loose and don't stay on very well.

I bought these binoculars for 50 percent off. The rangefinder is similar to what I found in the military - hence the reason for selecting this model.
Quality is high, but I am no professional. When I goto a store and pick up a 35 dollar pair of 7x50 binos they give a great image too.
I am still searching for what the power button is for.
Pros: optic quality, craftsmanship
Cons: no instructions, broken compass.

These binos are amazing! I was on a ship cruise and dropped them in the water by complete accident. I did not know that they would float. After I got them out of the water, I checked for damages and nothing was wrong with the Binocular! If you're a person who tends to drop binoculars and spend a lot of time on the 7 seas, then these are for you!
You can view things underwater too!
This product gets my recomadation without a second thought!
