A real disappointment
Sending this scope back to Barska for the 2nd time in 4 years. This scope has a flawed mechanism with the focus adjustment. This is the 2nd time I have returned this scope for the same failure. Barsk warrantee is honored by them, but I have to send $25 plus pay for packaging and shipping to get the ...

Spot on and tough as nails!
Mounted this baby on a .50 Serbu. It's solid as a rock, maintains accuracy despite blowback .50 cal beating and easy to dial in. I plan on buying another for a .308, too. The price was certainly right, and probably 1/3 of all my optics come from OpticsPlanet.com I price hunted this for 2 weeks and no one beats OP. With a long range single shot, 24X is a necessity.
Pros:
- Solid as a rock
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Long range shooting and hunting

Great scope and feature set for the money
It looks like their highest end Benchmark scopes are really coming of age. I just got mine, put it on a LR-308. This scope is very clear at all magnifications as long as you adjust the side focus. All of the adjustments feel very precision and I am very please with the features for the money aspect. The FFP (Front Focal Plane) MIL Dot is the way to go.
There was no spec to the maximum elevation adjustment listed. So I counted the maximum turns from zero, up 7.25 and down 7.25 turns giving 14 total turns of adjustment or 49 MILs up and 29 MILs down for 98 total adjustment. Each full turn is 7 MILs of adjustment in 1/8 of a MIL steps, very precision. This should be just enough to get me out to 1,000 yards on the range.

Good scope for money
Great scope for the money. Good optics, clear picture. Overkill for my 10/22, but what else is a second 10/22 for?
