the most popular air gun cal. is 177 which this item doesn't have an arbor for. lens(red dot) is very off center with no instructions on adjustment of any kind. turns on...that is it.
Pros: cheap, turns on red dot
Cons: many...see comments
I purchased this boresighter without fully reading the item description. I assumed that since it was called an "Airgun Laser Bore Sighter" that it would include a .177 arbor, seeing as how .177 is used on the vast majority of airguns. Unfortunately, the included arbor is .22 caliber. Out of curiosity, I placed the laser on a level table to see how accurate it was. From a distance of 10', the laser was 2' off center. I confirmed this by placing my 20GA boresighter and a laser pointer next to the Barska. Once I saw how inaccurate it was, I threw it in the garbage. Do not waste your money and time on this useless product.
Pros: None
Cons: Wildly Inaccurate, No .177 arbor
Would recommend: Yes

When the unit is in the bore, you can rotate it and the emitted light will actually draw a circle with a diameter of about 1.75 feet on your target at a distance of about 25 yards. This means that the light itself is not centered in the housing. There are no instructions on centering the light.
Pros: Very easy to set up
Cons: Laser is not centered in its housing
Would recommend: No
