For the money it is rock solid. Easy to use, easy to set up. Comes with some accessories. five inch sunshade is probably the only useable item. The lens covers come off with no effort, and on my bolt action .308, one round the objective lens cover is off. The rings lack alot to be desired, order som...

Cheaply made

by Bob Macfarlane, from GA, United States Written on August 30, 2014
When it worked it was fine but within the first year things started to fall apart. The rheostat was the first to go within a year and then within three years it lost all ability to set windage and elevation.

From day one the scope (at least mine) was never clear at 16 or above - - - it looked like you were seeing underwater without a mask.

Would have loved to have it repaired but no receipt could be found and Optic Planet was of no help in proving my purchase. Without the receipt the cost of repair is greater than the cost of buying one new.

Piece of JUNK.

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on September 9, 2012
I got this on my Mossberg NightTrainII, and first off, i changed the crappy rings. Then i tried to zero it, but it would not focus at any range, turns out the front lens was loose, so i tightned it up, but the zero keeps changing, After zero'ing on the .308, it will not keep a zero. The glass at any zoom over 20x is unusable, The parallax adjustment is useless, its way off. Overall its garbage. Oh, i like the reticle. thats it!
Pros: None.
Cons: Glass is junk,Will not keep zero, parallax is out, rings are junk

Great when worked

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on July 11, 2012
I liked the socope till it stopped working. I spent $200 on ammo to get it zeroed and found out that the windage turret stopped working and it is actually now affecting the bullet drop. Now I'm going to have to deal with Barska to see if they will fix it. Also after looking at other scopes I see that the image quality is a little fogy.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: After 2 months windage turret is not working

Nice Scope

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on September 9, 2009
Nice accurate could use more MOA all around. 80 or more would be nice. A bit on the heavy side But awsome scope. Have it on .270 7mm, 30-06, and a 300 win mag. No issues.

Pros: scope, shade cover, lens covers
Cons: cheap mounts, shade cover in front spring is messed up
