Legacy Reviewer's Review of Barska 3-12x56 IR Euro-30 Pro Rifle Scopes w/ 4A Illuminated Cross Reticle - AC10024 Rifle Scope

The rest of the people providing reviews are probably barska Chinese employees! Barska scopes as bad as they can get. I made a huge mistake of actually buying 3 Barska scopes for my son's rifles. You see, I spent quite a bit of money for getting 3 guns for my 12, 14 and 15 year olds sons. And I kind of went cheap with the scopes. My older son (used to guns already) got a 270 single shot rifle. He wanted a sight with small magnifigation. We got for him a Barska 4x28 sight. On the first shot, the reticle turned upside down!! OK, we thought the 270 has too much kick for these kind of scopes. We next tried my other son's 223. The scope under this review (3-12x56). We bore sighted the scope at 50 yards and indeed first shot was 0,5 inch from center. Next shot, the bullet went to the ground!!I thought what the hell, what we did wrong. Check base, rings, everything was fine. Tried another shot, this time we hit the top of the target frame. Next shot, the reticle flipped 90 degrees!! Jesus Christ. Talking about embarrassment on the range. My kids were looking at me like I was the cheapest dad in the world. And believe me, I'm not a cheap guy. I thought for a second that I can get my sons some fun shooting on the range without spending too much money. No, wasn't meant to be. And the story gets worst!!This time with my youngest son and his 17 HMR!! You got to be kidding me. His rifle has absolutely no recoil! We mounted a Barska 3-9x52. First shot at 50 yards was a couple of inches to the left and maybe an inch high. Put the gun on the shooting vest and tried to turn the turrets to adjust point of aim to the point of impact. Keep turning the turrets and the reticle wasn't moving!!
OK you got the point! $400 down the drain. Get a Barska and you can't blame anyone by yourself!
