Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Bang for the Buck
I bought this scope, mounted it to a Mossberg ATR Bolt Action in .270 and I have never touched the adjustments! I am truely suprised, and I have taken 5 deer and one turkey at anywhere from 60-140 yards. Sure I got lucky with the scope being dead on when mounted, but after 3 years, and one broken st...

Most Helpful Negative Review You get what you pay for
This scope looks awkward and stubby; it's short but with a huge lens, I use extra-high rings and the objective aperture as barely off of the barrel. The image is less than clear at 3x and gets worse as you raise the magnification, but it's usable. When you activate the illuminated reticle, depending...

Don't get fooled!!

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on July 21, 2013
The rest of the people providing reviews are probably barska Chinese employees! Barska scopes as bad as they can get. I made a huge mistake of actually buying 3 Barska scopes for my son's rifles. You see, I spent quite a bit of money for getting 3 guns for my 12, 14 and 15 year olds sons. And I kind of went cheap with the scopes. My older son (used to guns already) got a 270 single shot rifle. He wanted a sight with small magnifigation. We got for him a Barska 4x28 sight. On the first shot, the reticle turned upside down!! OK, we thought the 270 has too much kick for these kind of scopes. We next tried my other son's 223. The scope under this review (3-12x56). We bore sighted the scope at 50 yards and indeed first shot was 0,5 inch from center. Next shot, the bullet went to the ground!!I thought what the hell, what we did wrong. Check base, rings, everything was fine. Tried another shot, this time we hit the top of the target frame. Next shot, the reticle flipped 90 degrees!! Jesus Christ. Talking about embarrassment on the range. My kids were looking at me like I was the cheapest dad in the world. And believe me, I'm not a cheap guy. I thought for a second that I can get my sons some fun shooting on the range without spending too much money. No, wasn't meant to be. And the story gets worst!!This time with my youngest son and his 17 HMR!! You got to be kidding me. His rifle has absolutely no recoil! We mounted a Barska 3-9x52. First shot at 50 yards was a couple of inches to ...

Barska 3-12 x 56 Euro-30 Pro Riflescope w/4A ill. Cross

by Terry, Verified Owner from SC, United States Written on May 25, 2011
I bought two AC10024 Barska riflescopes for my adult sons. The clarity is very good. The illuminated red cross excels in low light conditions. It lets in more light than my Leupold Vari XX. In fact, it puts the Leupold to shame in low light conditions and matches or betters the clarity of the Leupold. This scope is worth every penny. Free shipping too. But order a good set of rings. Rings come with the scope but splurge a little to upgrade the rings.
Pros: good quality, low price, free shipping, backed up by OpticsPlanet
Cons: none that I've experienced.

Barska 3-12 x 56 Euro-30 Pro Riflescope w/4A ill. Cross

by Terry, Verified Owner from SC, United States Written on January 31, 2010
Good lowlight scope. Illuminated crosshairs are a nice feature. Best scope for the money, it's clear in all powers, easy focusing. I have a Leupold vari X II abd this scope matches clarity with the Leupold and permits much more light in dawn and dusk conditions than the Leupold. The lifetime warranty is also a plus.
Pros: compares very well with other expensive scopes
Cons: I haven't found a problem with them

A very nice scope with excelent low light visablity. IR is well formed and easy to use. Only downfall is that batteries are tough to change but they last awile so no worries there.
Pros: 56mm, IR(illuminated reticle),
Cons: only mid range power (12x max)
