The first one I tried mounting and the unit sat several degrees off due to the clamp side of the mount not matching the angle of the rail(not even close). I exchanged it for a replacement and the new one still had the same issue though a little better(now only 1 to 2 degrees off) will need to file the frame on the side with the clamp so that it will sit flush to the picatiny rail and clamp tightly. As it sits out of the box the clamp will not engage the rail properly(barely grabs the rail). Needless to say the casting for this unit is grossly off with no quality control or checks for fitment. With the proper adjustments it should work fine.
Pros: Bright light/laser
Cons: Casting for a picatiny mount is horrible with no quality control

I bought the product brand new. Right out of the box, the laser didn't work. I've heard horrid things about Barska's warranty program and didn't want to deal with it (I'd be into this piece for a more than I care for). I now have an overpriced and very sophisticated Barska 200 lumen rail mounted flashlight. Credit where credit is due; the light is bright!
Pros: light is bright
Cons: laser is non functioning

Installed on a Ruger SR9, holds zero (150 rds fired), had to modify the housing slightly to fit the first rail slot on gun frame. Great visibility in daylight, better than red laser.

Almost all the other comments are users saying it doesn't fit their gun. I can add to the list, I have a Beretta M9A1 and it won't fit on that, either. I strongly recommend the manufacturer compile a list of which weapons this thing actually will mount onto, and which ones it won't. That would save us all a lot of trouble. Also, be aware, because I tried to put it on my gun and found that it doesn't fit, that's their reason for not accepting the return. Now I'm stuck with it, I guess I'll try to sell it. When I buy a light that does fit, it will be from someone else.
Pros: great unit, very funtional
Cons: does not fit

Before purchasing, I tried to find a compatibility chart for hand guns. Everything I read appeared to state it would fit most any hand gun with a picattini or weaver rail. The cross member will not fit in the first rail notch without interfering with the trigger guard on my HK-45. Recoil slides the unit off the rail after a couple rounds. Nice unit - sure with I could use it.
Pros: Great price and product quality
Cons: Will not fit HK-45
