Works as Expected
The safe pretty much works as expected. In the beginning the biometric scanner was a bit fuzzy but didnt worry too much because i could use the keypad to open the safe. I called customer service regarding the scanner working intermittently and they recommended i scan my same finger at different angles so the safe could better recognize my fingerprint... THAT DID THE JOB. Works all the time consistently now!
Decent product for the price
I found this Barska safe to be more affordable than some others offered so I took the chance and ordered one. Overall, the build quality is very good. One issue worth raising is that the fingerprint scanner seems a bit finicky. I scanned and saved 3 digits (multiple times) and opening the safe on the first try hasn't worked. Luckily it includes a pair of keys.
I find it to be roomy enough for a compact 9mm, along with 2 boxes of ammo and 2 (9mm) magazines with more room available if you're willing to stack items.

Great design and functionality!
This is the perfect answer to hide my hand gun and protect valuable paperwork at the same time. Set up instructions were simple and easy to follow, so far so good; with no complaints. The codes are easy to reset to a personal code that makes it quick to obtain my firearm in case of an emergency. This size is great because it now hides in the closet under boxes of the wife's shoes, making it inconspicuous; with easy access.

Well Built Safe with Adjustable Box Shelf
The safe is easy to initially use. I love the inside drawer which is adjustable to allow more space either above or below. The keypad is easy to use and the lock provides extra security. There is a small pocket on the door that adds extra room as well. Love that this safe has four locking mechanisms and is also available in a dial form as well. It also comes with heavy anchors for added security. Very happy with the purchase.
