This thing is pure junk

First it arrived with corroded batteries. Wouldn't go together with laser warning sticker on it. Would not align to actual true sighting. Placed rifle in a mount and tried to use this laser for 100 and then 50 feet. With rifle in mount. Verified that rounds were grouping at 100 feet with less than 1/16th of inch pattern. Laser would get no closer than 14 inches. Tried at 50 feet and would get no closer than 13 inches. Then tried 20 feet, still over 11 inches from actual impact. I tried to force the alignment and simple stripped the screw. Now cat has a new toy. This thing is pure and total junk.

Not for accuracy !

This laser sight, looked ok, but the mount is shaped wrong for the rail on the pistol.At first it was almost 18" off the target at 15 feet, when I tried to adjust it with the set screws the cheap allen wrench supplied rounded over. When I used an American allen wrench it stripped out the set screws. I re tapped the set screw threads and put in longer set screws. I then filed the mount to make it fit the Springfield Armory rail and get it very close to the target using the rail mount screws. I was able to then get it on the target. But if you take it off and put it back on , it's way off again, unless you take great pains mounting it. The laser itself seems ok, is very bright, easy to see, and doesn't shift when you fire the gun, but the mount is junk as received !!!

Cons: can't get it on the target
