I was pleasantly surprised by the optics, mechanics, and accessories of this scope. I have read critiqes on the web spanning quite a few years and was expecting mixed results. What I found instead was an 80mm apochromat built like a tank with superb color correction, a very durable black anodized finish and a smooth dual speed focuser. Optical alignment is excellent and the scope shows a well defined diffration disk. The included 2" dielectrically coated diagonal performs well and is nicely finished. The zoom and 10mm eyepieces are good quality. Lastly this all comes in a fitted carrying case and at an astoudingly low price.
