Decent Budget Rimfire Scope

I like the scope so far, it has a low profile for a .22LR rifle. Rings included are not optimal, but they're hard to replace because of the 3/4" scope tube. I had no problem adjusting it when boresighting.

OK compact .22 Rimfire scope

Optical quality seems good, don't know about durability. I don't like the 1-pc. rings that require scope disassembly to remove. If you want a relatively compact scope for a .22 rimfire, the selection is limited and this seems to be one of the few variables.

  • durability has been variable w/Barska scopes

  • plinking/small game hunting

I bought this to replace the cheap Tasco 4x I had. This seems well built, like another Barska I have and is clear with good light collection. Reticle is sharp when focused. It's a good value for the money. Maybe I could put the Tasco on a BB gun...

Better get some locktight

SG great customer service. I bought this cheap scope for sons tiny keystone Crickett. Fits well on scope mount. Tightened down till screw heads started to wallow. After about 35 rounds thru rifle scope rings that came with scope came undone. Either lock tight them or order better rings. I'm replacing the rings. Other than that scope OK. Clarity for the price OK. Son was punching out center of bullseye with it.

good price

I have been searching for a rimfire scope with a three quarter inch tube for awhile and finally found one at optics planet. decent price and as advertised. Only took seven shots to get it dead on. Ater shooting several squirrels and only missing one, I give it a thumbs up.

UPDATE 3x7x20

Took the plinkster out to the range and it worked great.. had a cluster of shots in the bulls eye in about 5 minutes. shot the gun from 50 yards and 100 yards no difference and the scope stayed on mark when adjusting the zoom. Very happy with this scope .

Barska AC10002

This little scope was put on a mossberg 702 plinkster. It went right on with ease and was adjusted in 5 minutes. The clamps and rings were very easy to adjust. The optics look very clear and the zoom adjustment works good. I will update after I shoot the whole rig at the range.
Overall perfect for my .22
