very good product. with a little filing and tweeking this product works great. Ujust need to take your time and file a little and keep trying it as not to take off too much or you wont get a tight fit.

Had to use a Dremel tool to fit the front of the cover so the whole mount would move forward enough to close the take down latch. Mount/Cover is VERY solid when fitted. With minor modifications as stated I had a perfect fit. Well worth the price if your looking to mount a actual decent scope on your sks this is the way to go. Highly recommended. Very well constructed part

SKS Mount Cover are not Aligned Properly

The mount cover tips is not aligned to the slide. The new SKS mount cover does not look secure either, I will return.

Picatinny rail doesn't work it's off by 20 thousands will not allow scope to Matt

I was very pleased initially with my FIT after I filed it into place. Then I tried Mounting my scope to it, and the picatinny rail is completely off. So now I have to buy another picatinny rail because otherwise all the time I spent fitting will be for naught. Hopefully hopefully optics planet will do the right thing and supply me with a new rail

Barska sks mount

if you are looking for a drop in piece this is not it. It took about 45 minutes with a Dremel to get it to fit. Holds scope great waiting to see if it will hold zero after shooting.
Pros: scope mount for sks
Cons: dremel to fit
