Please don't - Barska Standard Biometric Gun Safe

I purchased this safe to have a quick entry safe in my home as I have small children, work as a police officer and need my firearms secured. The safe is easy to set up and seemed to work ok the first couple of times we tried it. We entered several finger prints for both myself and my wife. After a couple of minutes when we tried to open the safe again it would fail over 50% of the time for me and 30% of the time for my wife and this was doing the scan slow and delibertly. I can't imagine what would happen under stress. Needless to say I returned the safe as the only thing it would be good for is getting my family killed in an emergency. The system is also slow when it does work and I can actually open my key pad safe much quicker. Until the biometrics are improved stick with a key pad safe.
