BARSKA 6 x24x50 scope
FOR THE PRICE AND QUALITY THIS IS A GREAT SCOPE. EASY TO ADJUST AND SIGHT, HOLDS 0 AT ALL SETTINGS. SOME HAVE SAID IT BLURS AT FULL POWER, BUT IF YOU ADJUST THE PARALLAX AT THE LARGE END(50MM) FOR THE YARDAGE, IT WILL BE CRYSTAL CLEAR. NAILING DIMES AT 100 YARDS WITH MY MARLIN 22 MAG.

Pros: nice scope for the money

Good value for the money
This is a very good scope. I like that it has so many adjustments. You get a nice clear

Barska 6x24x50 Varmint Scope
This is a $100 scope! HELLO! For $100 and what it is,
it is an amazing value! anyone who you put a $100
scope on a deer rifle or on a serious varmint rifle
is not on the ball!
On pellet guns (that's me) for target or bug sniping it
rocks!, on a 22LR, or .22 Mag or a .17 ok if your not
a real serious shooter. It is after all a $100 scope!
It is what it is! A serious shooter will have to spend
$250 an up! to get something up to speed! That's just the
way it is!

The scope appears to have excellent quality in both performance and construction. I am looking forward to its use! I used heavy duty, "high" scope rings in attaching it to my mini-14. The scope bore sighted easily at 150 feet.
Pros:
- The optics are very clear at all magnification.
Cons:
- It is a little heavy
- It is a little heavy.
Best Used for:
- Mid to long range shooting.

Great varmint scope
Received the Barska 6-24x50 Varmint mil-dot scope a gift and promptly mounted it on my Savage .17 (Mach II) for ventilating targets, prairie pups and rock chucks. After sighting it in, it hit absolutely everything I aimed at within 125 yards except when I forgot to adjust the parallax to match my range. Clarity issue at upper/max zoom extent goes away if parallax ring is properly adjusted, but this is not documented well.
Never mounted it to a larger caliber rifle, so I can't speak to how it performs across hundreds of yards. Never had to use the mil-dot with such a flat shooting rifle in such short distances... just center and squeeze.
Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a budget conscious option to use for target practice or to shoot varmints using a .17, .22 or something similar.
Happy shooting!

Product documentation bad. Scope OK
The scope works. Reticle appears clear. Image clear and somewhat bright. There is distortion at high magnification around the edges and image is hard to maintain in reticle at high mag. But it is serviceable.
The documentation is awful. There is no info on the reticle. My was a Mil-Dot so it is pretty standard but they don’t give you the substensions at any mag level so you have to measure to see which mag level gets you the correct substensions.
To range with this scope you need to set the mag level to 10. Now you know.
Build quality was sloppy. I had to superglue the rubber eye piece on at the ocular lens.
I have this scope on a rim fire so I think it should serve ok.

Barska Varmint
All in all a great scope for the price. Mounted on a Savage mark 2 .22 lr with the Xtra high scope rings. Took 5 shots to sight in at 50 yds. 3 shot group after that could be covered by a quarter. Love the zoom and clarity.
Best Used for:
- Anything 0-300 meters

Specks inside glass.
You know you get a lot of scope for the money, but I am dissappointed. I couldn't figure out why the image seemed grainy. Well at 24x I figured it out, there's specks of something INSIDE the glass. So much for being purged and sealed. I know this is a budget line, but I expected better from Barska.
Pros:
- Price
- zoom range
Cons:
- Quality Control
- Specks inside glass
Best Used for:
- Range
- Non serious plinking

Scope review
Bought to put on my AR to serve as a varmint gun. Quick & easy to mount & dial in at the range. Haven't used in the field yet, but imagine there will be no trouble at all. Optics planet was a snap to deal with - very happy with them as well!
Best Used for:
- Distance & varmint

Great Scope!
Put this scope on my varmint rifle and it has done the job well. I have take multiple targets at over 300 yards with this scope! Only once did the accuracy get off but hasn't happened again.
Pros: long range, focusing
Cons: accuracy was bumped off once
