new to the Binoculars thing, we wanted an extra pair so my wife and I could view together. These Barska X-Trail 15x70mm do not disappoint, quality construction, great feel in the hands and very comfortable to hold, the table top tripod is a nice touch, but a real tripod would help these binos to shine. Great field of view and optical clarity... Recommended!
Cons:
- needs a tripod for optimal stability

The tripod that comes with this binocular is not very useful, but I can study the craters on the moon with them. I have used them for hunting and nature watching and they are great! You must have a good tripod in order to stargaze with them. Overall for the price you can't loose. The edges of the sight picture are a bit blury, but this type of optic for the price, it is to be expected.
Best Used for:
- Longer ranges in good light

Very bad quality of zooming. Blurry at 100 yards.lack of focus. Don't recommend. No worth ed the money.
OpticsPlanet shipped very fast and on time.
There's more better products then this one.
Thanks

You must use a tripod for these binoculars, I use them for star gazing and it is next to impossible too see individual stars without a tripod. But when you can keep them steady you can see all the craters on the moon in great detail. I have used them for hunting as well when glassing an area from a prone position they are big and cumbersome, but the really shoe allot of detail.
Pros: Great magnification
Cons: needs better mount

Have used to Identify distant birds, where the 8x could not do job. Able to easily visualize Jupiter ( not its cloud bands) and two of its moons. Use of tripod is recommended, These binoculars offer a lot at a very reasonable cost.
Pros: optics- ease of use for astronomy and land viewing
Cons: none
Would recommend: Yes

Just watched the full moon with these binoculars. The optics are quite good. I will not use the too small, too short tripod.
They arrived in good time and the packaging was sufficient.
The optic planet staff was very helpful and cordial.
Pros: price, very acceptable optics,
Cons: small tripod

These are the best! I do research in the field spotting otters in Monterey and Carmel. No matter the conditions these binos are almost as good as my scope. In many cases I don't need my scope.
Really great value for excellent equipment. You will NOT be disappointed.
Pros: Unreal clarity at great distances!
Cons: Can get heavy, so bring your tripod
