I bought this for an AR pistol build, reading about angled grips being nice - this angles as pictured, about 55 degrees at the most-angled setting, and the adjust-ability is a bonus. It is more angled than a DPMS Panther-style grip I bought for a long-rifle which I thought was quite angled, but turned out to be standard. This is way more angled and gives a great feeling grip-angle for an AR pistol. It naturally brings your hand high up the beavertail because of that steep angle pushing you up and forward towards the trigger. This will undoubtedly help manage recoil more efficiently and was a factor in the purchase as well.
If too aggressive, there are two lower-angled settings, with the lowest just slightly angled from vertical. The middle setting must be between 12 and 55 degrees, so maybe 30 which seems standard compared to another rifle grip I have. Thus you get a more vertical option as well as the well-angled "tactical" option.
Grip handle is smooth plastic and could use more texture. There are mild finger grooves, but barely. Stippling would be nice as well as deeper finger grooves for a better grip. No palm swells either, pretty flat up and down the grip. Texture on the back of the grip is nice. Great look but could use extra wrap or Hogue-type grip addition for a better "grip-feel" than slick polymer. I might wrap it with some tennis racket grip tape for that bandaged feel instead. The angle takes the cake though, great product despite the personal grip...
