this is grey
The pin i got needs to be a little thicker so my receiver set dont wobble. Also the ionbond finish is kind of stupid. I was misled into believing it is black, but its actually a shiny grey color which is too noticeable on a black ar15.
Inconsistent.
I was looking for something to make my ar pop, so I decided on red andodized accents. These battle arms take down pins are more expensive than basic pins. For a premium price, I was expecting a premium product. What I received was a set with two different finishes, one andodized and one painted. Based on the price point, and what I received, I do not recommend this product.

The best steel pivot/takedown pins on the market
There is something magical about these pins. Between the precision machined stainless, the flawless finish, and the KNS Precision detents, these pins are the smoothest we've ever used. Battle Arms put a lot of thought into these pins, including components you'll probably only ever see once (detents and springs).
The +0.030" length makes disengagement a piece of cake. Not that you will ever need them with a conformant lower, but the bullet tip dimples offer a reliable way to disengage stubborn pins without mutilating your lower.
The heads are easy to grab without being a snagging risk.

OD GREEN??
I have been trying to find a set of pivot-takedown pins for my Aero anodized OD Green build and have already bought a couple of sets that don't match so I was relieved when I saw these Battle Arms anodized OD Green pins. They seem to be the correct color on the website but once i received them I was disappointed because they are not OD Green but kind of a translucent Grayish Green. I don't know if this is a bum set that didn't come out right but I would think if that were the case their QC would have culled them out. As far as the design, quality of material, and machining they are good to go. I will say they are still the closest match for the Aero anodized OD Green but that's only because the other ones i tried were way off.

Battle Arms AR-10 model
Dont buy for AR10. Would be nice pins for AR15 for sure. Doesnt fit AR front pin. It is rounded. doesnt have that half circle shape so they stick way out. Doesnt push in all the way. This is just stupid honestly. Going with another brand.
