Didn't realize what I was missing.
Bought a tool and die makers tool box at a estate sale. There was a older 4X B&L Loupe inside. Being almost 50 now and the eyes not being what they once were I forgot what it was like to see so much fine detail up close. It makes everything detail oriented so much easier. So I bought this 7X and the 10X also. They come in and out of stock quickly, so grab them when available. Just becareful because when you thought you were done cleaning,sharpening (rifle bolt, knife edge) you will see there is more work needed using these. I specifically looked for Bausch & Lomb due to buying a no name brand that didn't have the clarity and sharpness these do.
Pros:
- Helps ensure you really got the small places clean.
Cons:
- The extra time getting guns really clean

- Fine detail work
