The green laser makes this very easy to use and see even in the day time. The 150 lumen flashlight will blind anyone that looks in the lights direction. Wonderful home defense item.

The beamshot is well made, laser and light work well. But, here is what I found after firing rounds. I had the laser zeroed in with a laser bore sight by the gun technician at the shooting range, and also zeroed by the gun sights. After a number of rounds the laser is off zero, high and right, but stays there. Readjust and it moves again. I think the reason why is that this laser/light moves a tiny bit on the 1913 picatinny rail which at 20 yards away will throw the laser off. Most laser/lights that state it will fit on any universal or picatinny rail has a standard cross slot/key that is 5/32" (0.15625"). The 1913 rail is actually 0.206" or just larger than a 3/16". So a standard/universal cross slot/key will work on a 1913 rail, but even with the clamps very tight, the laser/light might move on the rails with recoil. Eventually, you'll have to zero the gun again at some point. If you want a laser/light that will hold zero for sure, buy a laser/light that comes with a 1913 mounting option. I had this mounted on a FNS 40S&W, standard size pistol with a 1913 picatinny rail, 4in barrel, 2 inch 1913 rail from trigger guard to tip of pistol.

Cons: unit is large for a standard pistol, universal mount not good enough for 1913 picatinny rail

This could have been the BEST Green Laser Light Combo out there, BUT the reason why it isn't is because of the little metal flick switch that you have to click from left to right. When you leave it on the left side, it's off. Switch it to the middle and it's on standby (meaning it's draining power even though you're not seeing anything visibly ON). Switch it to the left you'll see the laser (either on strobe or steady on). The thing is, when you switch it on from left to right TOO FAST (which you SHOULD be able to do in a reaction situation) YOU CAN'T, because it then PREVENTS the laser from turing ON as it SHUTS OFF!!! Which then DEFEATS the whole purpose of having the laser work.

You have to click it twice SLOWLY and not TOO FAST, but that doesn't help your situation either, because if you're sleeping and you bought this thing to help assist you when you hear the alarm going off in your home and you up and groggy grabbing your hand gun and wanting to turn on the laser only when you need it and not having to fumble through the switch to hopefully not turn it on too fast where it doesn't work or turing it on slowly but didn't realise that you now have it on because you clicked it twice instead of once and... I think you know where I'm going with this. That can jack up your situation because now you're not focused on the perp, but your laser - in the end DEFEATING THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF HA...

Unit is well built and fits snugly on gun rail. Light function is easy to operate and light is bright enough to light up a dark room. Green laser is so bright you can see it for 100's of yards in full day light conditions. Laser and Light both have a strobe function. The laser strobe is very similuar to how the Lasermax lasers strobe. Overall this unit seems to be worht the money. Have not used on the Range yet, so once I range test the unit I will post an update if something fails to function properly.
Pros: Rechargable battery, Small footprint, Ease of use and setup, Green laser brightness and ability to strobe
Cons: No charging indicator light leaves you guessing if the unit is actually charging
