Bobinski's Review of Benchmade Bugout, 3.24 in Folding Knife

Super quality. Sharp out of the box (only the haters comment otherwise). The BM 535 series was DESIGNED to be a low profile, lightweight EDC tool knife for the grey dude. BM accomplished this and the Bugout is a fine execution. Reading some of the comment about “cheap feeling” and handle flex, make me snicker. If you need a knife built to use the handle as a hammer, there are plenty out there, but you certainly won’t find them in this compact and supe lightweight form factor. Physics is physics, this one has been engineered to design specs no doubt. If you buy a duck, then complain that it doesn’t taste like chicken — that’s on you. The specs, to include its sub-two ounce weight, are clearly called out in the description. The handle is plenty study enough for a knife designed for this purpose. If you need to pound nails or torque off a bolt, then buy a hammer and a wrench. I notice that many negative reviews use the same language in copy-cat fashion. Folks are either shills, haters or just feel more important when they are complaining. I’m sick of reading idiot reviews written by cretins.
