Great edc option - Benchmade Bugout, 3.24 in Folding Knife

I've had this knife for a few months now and I carry it everywhere I'm allowed. I bought it to replace my aging Benchmade 530 and it's a great replacement option. The scales are thin and offer good grip in standard and reverse holds. I only buy axis lock knives for daily carry because you can flip them open and closed with one hand with no problems. The blade is pretty stout and has a nice belly for carving, the point is fairly thick in comparison with my 530 but that's to be expected. I'm not sure I would really consider this a great knife for anything even moderate in the outdoor world. You could skin and gut animals with it but don't expect to be cutting bones or chopping wood. The blade was fairly sharp on arrival although it was definitely cut on a belt and not honed down. I don't mind this as I'll be hand sharpening it myself anyway when it starts to bother me.
