Everyday fine knife
Benchmade quality in a petite size. Everyday useful. The lock close and open is fingernail operating tiny so consider that factor. Balance is perfect for me. The blade required a touch up by my chef nephew and the steel is very hard but once sharpened seems to last forever. I have tried it on boxes, plastic strips, standard impossible - to - open plastic packages, meat, leather, strawberries, paracord, strapping tape, etc. and works perfectly. Disappears until needed. Nice to look at and hold. Be sure to have a grip on it when it auto opens as the power to the spring may be enough to pop it out of your hand as it is light weight. Best to have a chef or other professional sharpen the blade unless you have more talent than I. May be a perfect gift for someone you really like and has a taste for excellence.
