Most Helpful Positive Review Dresses Up The Beretta Perfectly!
Order arrived on time and in good shape. This is the second set of grips I've purchased as a friend so admired my first set I purchased the same grips again for his Beretta. The checkered wood grips have more detail than you might imagine. And most importantly they are a perfect fit. The Beretta logo on the grip is a great touch to finish off the look. I recommend you oil them once installed.

beautiful grips

by Tristan Ritz, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on September 4, 2024
These fit perfectly, they look great, they feel great, but the medallion fall off.
Mine came glued a little offset and after about a year they fell off and are lost. Them falling off doesnt affect the function at least.

Beautiful Grip…lousy adhesive

by VAP8RI0, from VA, United States Written on February 23, 2022
I have several sets of these Beretta factory grips and though beautifully made of fine woods, all have had the same flaw…the adhesive used to secure the medallions to the stocks sucks! Two mags worth of ammo and the medallions fall out. Not a hard fix…just have to be lucky enough to spot it if they fall off. A couple drops of super glue and they stay on permanently. Now if I can do that why can’t they? Other than that…I love these. Really adds a nice classy touch to my beautiful Beretta pistols.
Pros:
  • Beautiful Wood, Awesome Upgrade
  • Perfect fit
Cons:
  • Glue on medallions is poor quality
Best Used for:
  • Model 87 & Model 85 Beretta pistols

nice fitting, adds a better feel than stock plastic grips

by DrWaz, from GA, United States Written on January 14, 2021
These grips are made from a very dark brown stained wood. There are metal inlays with PB on the left and the tridents on the right. They fit perfectly. Both snapped into place and screwed down tight. The wood has a bit more tooth than the plastic so it feels better and more secure in the hand. The wood is really dark so the visual difference is subtle but I like them better. Time will tell how well the wood holds up so I’m throwing the plastic ones in a case.

84F Grips fit perfectly

by Milliwatt Rob, from VT, United States Written on May 7, 2019
And they look nice too. The finish is rather dark, but attractive. I have replaced all the plastic grips on all my Beretta pistols with factory wood grips. They all have required no adjustments of any kind to fit perfectly and securely. And the guns look better, and feel better in the palm, than with the black plastic grips. Perhaps if I were using these firearms in combat situations, the plastic grips would be better. But for personal recreational use, the wood grip is the way to go.
Pros:
  • fit & feel
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Dress up

These grips really enhanced the looks of an already beautiful pistol. The fit and finish is perfect, and the quality is what you would expect from Beretta. This isn't my first order from Optics Planet, and won't be my last; good prices and customer service.

Nice Upgrade

by Paul D., from MI, United States Written on April 5, 2016
The wooden grips look and feel great on the Beretta 84fs Cheetah. They are easy to install, takes just a minute. The look complements the pistol design and give it an elegant warmth. Good pricing and excellent service from Optics. Highly recommended.

Nice Grips

by MCQ, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on January 14, 2016
I bought these for my 84F because the Pachmayr grips I had were a bit too bulky around the grip. You can find third-party wood grips for the 84F, but they are all smooth which I didn't want. These genuine Beretta grips are nicely checkered which assures a non-slip grip.

Beretta 92 Checkered Wood Grips with Medallions

by jGordon, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on December 19, 2015
These add beauty and function to any full-size Beretta 92fs. They look awesome on both black and stainless versions. The grip is excellent without being harsh. For .40 S&W calibers, like Beretta 96, I'd recommend staying with the Hogue wrap-around rubber grip due to excessive recoil on these versios. But, these Beretta Wood grips are an excellent choice for 9mm versions.
