This is a great product for left-handed Beretta 90/92/96 or Girsan Regard owners. It's a big, perfectly positioned thumb brace for a left-handed shooter's right thumb if you have medium-size hands. My right hand measures about 8.25" around, 6" from tip of thumb to wrist. This offers excellent purchase while firing by pushing the right thumb on the thumbrest inwards (towards the sidearm slide; not forwards). The gun shoots flatter and I am able to follow up shots faster. This upgraded control piece is a bit big, being designed for competetion. It may impede IWB carry methods and be incompatibile with tighter holsters. No issues with competition-style or duty-grade holsters in my experience.
