Thought this spring would make the Cougar 8000 better to shoot and may help in smooth trigger. But it does not, maybe a little more softernsrlprongnmay to good. An addition of certain hammer parts may increase the smoothness of trigger

Should be the standard spring
I ordered a couple of these guys for a PX4 and a Cougar 8000. It's the same for the 92/M9 as well. Works great in all those guns and is the cheapest/easiest way to improve the trigger. For whatever reason, they've updated the part number, but this is the same functional part that is shared between a lot of beretta pistols. They should all just have this spring from the get go like my M9A3.
