I own a Beretta AL391 Urika. This base does not fit even thought the packaging claims it is the correct base for this shotgun. The tightening screws do not tighten the base in the dove tail slots. Beretta Scope Base For A400/A391

I have a Berretta A400 with grooves in the receiver to mount a scope. In order to mount a scope on this shotgun you have to buy this base so you can use standard scope mounting rings. It fits well and works fine, but is just something else you have to buy if you want to scope a shotgun.
Pros:
  • Fits and works well
Cons:
  • Could have been taken care of with a tapped receiver.
Best Used for:
  • Mounting add on optics.

review of scope base mount

This Beretta scope base mount was just what I wanted and it worked great. I am using it on an A300 Beretta shotgun. I would recommend this as one of the better scope for this gun. It fit perfect and is not too large or in the way of using shotgun without scope.

Scope base

Excellent product! I searched a very long time for a mount for a Franchi Intensity shotgun and this does fit and work well for those of you who do not wish to drill and tap your aluminum reciever! Benelli Franchi USA does make one exactly like this one. My only gripe is I do not know the proper torque specs for my reciever. Other than that I really like it. I mounted an EOTECH 512 HWS on my shotgun that I also got from op! Great combo!

  • Works well and easy to install
Cons:
  • No torque instuctions for this product
Best Used for:
  • Shotguns with the A400 or Intensity dove tail reciever
