Great for the price
Works great for spotting animals both 2 legged and 4 legged at night. Slightly tricky to get focused, need to work both front and rear focus knobs, I'm extremely near sighted so this may be contributing to this. Once focused stays clear and the attached illuminator really lights things up. Haven't used past about 60 yards yet, but based on what I've experienced it should work for larger animals.

Amazing value
This is an amazing value it far exceed my expectations. With less than a half moon I could see clearly a couple hundred yards out without any ir light. In total darkness the ir light lit up very well over 100 yards. The 4.3x zoom is excellent for observation but slightly difficult to use for walking around.
