That is my first experience with a night vision. I was looking for something cheap but effective and checked a lot of shops and models, checked Youtube and reviews for similar products and then I wrote to Bering Optics Facebook to ask a help, 'cause I was in doubt. A guys there in support helped me a lot and I choosed Polaris 1.0x26. And it works great! For about $300 you get a hands free Night vision monocular and for airsoft games it is a nice kit of NVD to start! I see other players in a darkness in about 70 yards, but I don't need to see more, because my AEG is not effective on longer distances.
Battery works for a long time, picture is nice for this money, head gear fits my head strong.

My biggest complaint is that the head gear system doesn't attach to the monocular particularly well and is loose. As a result, you have to use rubber bands or zipties to get it to line up with your eye. Otherwise, the monocular itself is pretty decent, especially for the price.
