Great budget mono

by TXHogSlayer, from TX, United States Written on December 19, 2015
I needed something basic for field spotting at night. This did the trick. Easy to use and very effective. Could use a more powerful IR but good enough based on the price point. Battery life is great. Use lithium batteries for longest run time

Great entry level monocular

by Paul, from IL, United States Written on December 18, 2014
This is my first venture into a night vision product and so far I am happy with my purchase. In complete darkness the IR lights up everything allowing me to see clearly what is in front of me. I can read the large lettering on a cereal box from across the room. With a little ambient light like from an electronic device LED or bright moonlight, even without the IR, I can see things clearly. Others who have viewed through it can’t believe how bright the sighting is and how much they can see in total darkness.

I chose the Bering Optics Wake 2 over two others I was comparing in the same price range, a Night Owl monocular and a Bushnell unit. I decided on...
