Excellent line for most any fishing application. I fish tournaments on heavily pressured bodies of water, so using line that is virtually invisible is key to getting bittes. Berkeley has a knot strength of 93% using a Palomar knot, which is easy to tie. Close quarter shock strength is the best I've experienced. I have tried nearly all high end fluorocarbon lines to include; Gama Edge, SunLine FC, and the newly realesd P-Line tactical fluorocarbon...non of which could compare to the overall knot strength, shock strength, sensitivity, abrasion resistance and smooth casting of Berkeley's 100% pro grade fluorocarbon. The price point is also much more reasonable than the competition. I've spooled 16 of my 20 reels with Berkeley pro grade 100% Fluorocarbon.,.The other 4 reels, I've spoiled with braid for either punching heavy grass mats, or to throw top water baits, Good luck!
