The Berne 10oz. duck canvass jacket looks as sturdy as a Carhart for about half the price. The quilted flannel lining appears to be very warm. The hood is sewn on. The rip-open pockets on the front for concealed carry are large and will probably accommodate a full size pistol or revolver. There are pockets for your hands as well, plus inside pockets on both sides. I believe this jacket will be great this winter.
Pros:
- Good quality. Solid stitching on the seams. Warm line
- Well made; solid stitching on the seams; warm lining; a good CCW jacket.
Cons:
- The hood is not removable.
Best Used for:
- This is definitely a cold weather jacket.
