Most Helpful Positive Review holster for 380 Colt Pony
I bought this inside-the-pants holster for my Colt Pony Pocketlite 380, and I'm not disappointed! The design is excellent, especially with the top design which prevents the top of your semi-auto from digging into your side when you are seated. The fit is very tight at first but this is advantage a...

Most Helpful Negative Review Could have been better
Not what I expected. I had heard that this holster would retain its shape when the gun was drawn allowing for a smooth return to the holster. This is not the case. The holster completely collapses when the gun is drawn; therefore, it is virtually impossible to practice with this holster. I want ...

well made, but tight at first

by SucraC, from FL, United States Written on December 10, 2022
optics planet shipped the factory packaging inside a standard plastic shipping bag. when it arrived, i put my colt CCO (commander slide assembly on officer frame) in the plastic bag it was shipped in and shoved that into the holster and left it for three days. new quality leather is always stiff and doing this helps the holster mold around the pistol. the clip is sturdy and i am able to adjust the cant so the grip presses against my body for great comfort and concealment. when i first got the holster out of the package, it was so tight that it came out of my waistband with the pistol. after the pistol sat in the plastic shipping bag inside the holster for a few days, the holster loosened enough so it stayed inside the waistband when i drew and properly fit the pistol.
Pros:
  • well made, comfortable, affordable
Cons:
  • tight fit out of the box, needs a few days to mold around pistol

Quality holster...firearm fit guide HORRIBLE!

by trishal540, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on September 20, 2019
Quality holster & works for my Sig P365 & P238 (little deep but manageable). However, the fit guide is insane! Holster was #25936 (size 13) IWB which listed fit for Sig P238 (micro .380) AND P226R (full size w/rail). Fit also listed my HK P2000sk (sub-compact) for this model. Upon receiving, it’s stamped with “S&W M&P Shield” on the holster. The Sig P365 fit decent (even though it wasn’t listed) and the little P238 worked but went in a little deep with respect to grips. The HK P2000sk would only partially seat in the holster, leaving entire trigger guard exposed. My Sig P226R just laughed at this holster...which I figured would be the case. Why in the world would the full size Sig P226R be listed as a fit for this holster when it was obviously designed for the little M&P Shield? Bianchi and Optics Planet really need to re-evaluate the list of firearms shown to work with these holsters, or at the very least note which are exact fits and then note others as “possible”....but listing the P226R as a fit for this item is simply a disservice to the customer!

Size 21 for Ruger Ec9s

by Unhappy with Bianchi, from OK, United States Written on April 18, 2019
Bought the Bianchi 100 holster for my Ruger ec9s. Size chart told me size 21. When I received it the trigger guard was not covered. Questioned the gun shop owner who checked with salesman. Was told size 21 was correct and even though the guard was not fully covered it was safe because the trigger was covered. This did not match their pictures showing a completely covered trigger guard. I do not like to carry in this holster with one in the chamber.
Pros:
  • Nice holster
Cons:
  • Unsafe

Nice holster

by Vanwilder, from NY, United States Written on November 8, 2018
This is a nice well made holster. I bought the model for a 5 inch 1911 BUT carry a 4 inch SP101 in it.
It works great. A revolver fits the nooks and crannies of my anotomy much better than other hadguns. Plus I like the SP so why not carry it? The holster sits snugly, does not move around, is comfortable, and will last forever. Buy one for yourself.
Pros:
  • Just works great
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Carrying outdoors under a shirt year round

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

by a, from GA, United States Written on June 14, 2018
Holster is of good quality. Not great. Bianchi products are generally what you expect. Workmanship is fine and the leather is good. The metal clip is strong enough to hold on and the fit to the firearm is acceptable.

Versatility

by Richard C, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on April 5, 2018
New to concealed carry, I needed a holster that would allow me to experiment with different carry positions and alternatives. The model 100 does exactly that. It allows me to position my Bersa Thunder .380 CC from 11-6 and everything in-between. The belt clip is strong enough that it holds even when I don't wear a belt! The gun comes out cleanly and easily. I have even used it as a pocket holster. The retention is also about what can be expected from a leather holster.

The only thing I'd change is that a reinforcement to ensure easier re-holstering would make a great product even better. Still, this is a purchase I have not regretted for an instant.
Pros:
  • High quality
  • Adaptable
  • Great for new carriers
Cons:
  • No reinforcement

Bianchi 100 Professional Holster

by Sad Jack, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on January 15, 2018
I didn't think I would find a holster for an old HK4, but found this one. It fits and doesn't come out when drawing. It's typical Bianchi quality, which is great. I would recommend this for someone looking for a holster that will fit some of the older usable guns.
Pros:
  • Fit
  • well made
  • strong clip for attachment
Cons:
  • None

Bianchi 100 Professional for S&W 642

by Bear, Verified Owner from IA, United States Written on November 18, 2017
This holster is a good economical way to carry the S&W 642 IWB. The leather conforms to the gun very well, providing enough retention to secure the weapon. You do have to "twist" the gun a little to re-holster, but realistically, how many times do you draw your weapon while actively carrying? Good leather, comfortable, and good retention. Good price too.
Pros:
  • good value
  • Comfortable
  • Secure
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • ccw carry

Holster for Concealed Carry

by KENKG, Verified Owner from SC, United States Written on November 10, 2017
I use this holster for appendix carry of a Walther PPK/S and a Bersa Thunder. It works fine. It is noticeable but not uncomfortable when sitting and is reasonable comfortable during long walks, with no skin chafing noted to date. It retains either pistol well. The high back prevents pistol-to-skin contact, preventing sweat and exfoliated skin from getting into the pistol. Both pistols have a grip laser which catches on the edge of the holster, but the holster seems to be forming nicely, so I may not have to trim the leather.
