Doesn't fit my sig 229 - Bianchi 5 Widow Holster

This is the second black widow holster I have bought for my sig 229. The first one was years ago. The holster fit tight but it fit. This new one the security strap doesn't even come close to snapping closed. I emailed Safariland about this and it took them over a week to get back to me, by this time I already returned the holster. Safariland states the strap needs to be stratched. I've never had to stretch one as far as this one would have to stretch.
